THE LOCAL SHORELINE
A coastline worth knowing by heart.
Stay on Isle of Palms, then choose a nearby shore for a different kind of day: quiet Sullivan’s Island, lively Folly Beach, or the slower rhythm of Edisto Beach.
CHOOSE YOUR SHORE
Every beach day has a different rhythm.
The beach is part of the routine.
From 19 Sandcrab, the beach is 1.5 blocks away — close enough to become a daily habit rather than a planned outing. Wild Dunes stretches across 2.5 miles of Atlantic beachfront, room enough for swimming, long walks, sunrise coffee, sunset strolls, shelling, and easy family beach days.

Part of Isle of Palms’ 7-Mile Coastline
Wild Dunes sits at the quiet northeastern tip of Isle of Palms, where beach access runs primarily through the resort itself rather than public lots — one reason it stays noticeably less crowded than Front Beach. Chair and umbrella rentals are available right at the Grand Pavilion. Dogs may run off-leash early mornings (5–9am, April–mid-September) and extended hours in the off-season; leashed at all other times.

Isle of Palms first, then wander farther.
Isle of Palms is the place to stay and make your own. When you want an additional beach day, choose Sullivan’s Island for quiet history, Folly Beach for surf-town energy, or Edisto Beach for a longer, low-key escape.
