From the Front Beach Fest kicking off spring to the Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition each May, Isle of Palms hosts a full calendar of free, family-friendly events — the Easter Egg Hunt, Isle of Paws Music Fest, IOP Beach Run, Half Rubber Tournament, IOP Connector Run, Ghostly Tide Tales, Halloween Carnival, and the Holiday Street Festival, among others.

WATER EXCURSIONS

A Lowcountry adventure, right from the marina.

Head out from Isle of Palms Marina for a kayak or paddleboard rental, or join a naturalist-led eco-tour through the marshes and creeks — Sunset Dolphin Tours, crabbing adventures, a Lowcountry beachside cookout, or a trip to Capers Island, a pristine nature preserve just north of the island. Stop by the Marina Outpost before or after — snacks, drinks, boating essentials, and Isle of Palms souvenirs and gifts.
