The Grand Pavilion is Wild Dunes’ beachfront social heart—a place to move between the sand, the water, and a relaxed afternoon at your own pace. It is a natural starting point for an oceanfront pool day, especially when the whole family wants the beach close at hand.
Three ways to shape a resort day.
Pool settings
Take your pick — the lively Sweetgrass Pool Complex, the adults-only retreat at Boardwalk Inn, oceanfront at the Grand Pavilion, or a quiet lap swim at the Swim Center.
Beachfront days
Spend the day where the resort meets the shore — beach chairs, ocean air, and easy access back to the Pavilion whenever you’re ready for shade or a bite to eat.
The resort core
A wood-fired pizza night at Coastal Crust, coffee and essentials from Hudson’s Market & Café, or a cold scoop at the Sweet Shoppe — a three-minute walk from the house.
Five resort pools.
Sweetgrass Pool
Large and family-friendly, with a zero-entry section, splash pad, kiddie pool, hot tub, and cabanas. Heated year-round.
Boardwalk Inn Pool
A quiet, adults-only retreat for guests 21 and over. Heated year-round.
Grand Pavilion North Pool
Oceanfront, set directly on the beach boardwalk with open ocean views. Open seasonally.
Grand Pavilion South Pool
The Pavilion's second oceanfront pool, with more room to lounge by the sea. Open seasonally.
Swim Center Pool
A deep-water pool for morning laps and quiet family afternoons. Heated year-round.

The Spa at Sweetgrass
A 10,000-square-foot retreat with 14 treatment rooms, the Spa Living Room wellness lounge, The Sanctuary relaxation area, and a 3,000-square-foot Spa Garden with heated plunge pools and private cabanas for rent. The adjoining Salon at Sweetgrass offers manicures and pedicures.
